The surprising comfort of the unit
Our spacious apartment offered everything we needed for a family wedding, with easy access to beautiful walking trails and gardens.
Unfortunately, the main bed was too small, and we lacked seating in the lounge—definitely an inconvenience for six adults during our stay.

Our stay was fantastic with breathtaking views of Humpback Whales from our balcony! The spacious layout of the three-bedroom apartment was perfect for my family, including my nephew. We really enjoyed the close proximity to Main Beach and the pool area.
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if there were more keys for larger apartments.

whale watch ocean beach resort is perfect for families. the three-bedroom apartment was clean and spacious, with great appliances. it's really close to the main beach and the scenic point lookout boardwalk. we loved the pool and secluded barbecue area. pam from the staff was incredibly helpful when I had a flat battery. also, the resort shop was a fun spot to grab some goodies.

great location but could improve on maintenance
The property shines for families, especially with little ones. Our three-bedroom apartment offered excellent space, was meticulously clean, and had all the necessary appliances. The ocean view from our balcony was a stunning bonus. it made mornings feel special.
Some appliances in the apartment showed signs of wear and tear, which was a bit disappointing.

Staying with my friends was a blast! We had breathtaking views of Humpback Whales from our balcony, and the newly renovated apartment was the perfect spot for our group. The location near Main Beach was prime, and we loved the relaxing vibes from The Lily Walk. Just a heads-up, two of the bedrooms weren’t air-conditioned, which made it a bit toasty at times.
We also dealt with the problem of our apartment being quite dusty, which could have used a deep clean. Opening windows was tough since some other guests were smoking nearby.

perfect base for exploring beaches and scenic walks
I had an amazing time at this resort, as it was just less than a 5-minute walk to the stunning Cylinder Beach and very close to the North Gorge Walk with its breathtaking ocean views. I loved being able to stroll along the coast and soak in all the natural beauty the area has to offer.

Great Family Retreat with a Few Tweaks Needed
We enjoyed our stay in the three-bedroom apartment, perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool area, but be mindful of the noise from nearby parties. Consider bringing a fly screen for cooking! A couple more air conditioners would improve comfort significantly.

Great location with killer ocean views. Saw whales in the distance! Room was super spacious and clean. It had a fully equipped kitchen including a coffee machine and dishwasher. Totally loved sitting on the terrace with kangaroos around. The pool was nice and salt water plus the staff was really friendly.
